VIVIENNE WESTWOOD CATWALK

There is a Vivienne Westwood T-shirt with ‘destroy’ emblazoned across the front which exemplifies one of the ever-evolving designer’s few consistencies: her convention-smashing ethos. 

This is a catwalk down memory lane, from Westwood’s 1980 show, Pirate, to her most recent collections. 

Kate Moss is pictured (above) in the Autumn/Winter 1993-4 collection, Anglomania, a blend of impeccable English tailoring and French couture with a splash of tartan for good measure. 

As this fabulous book reveals, Moss and other supermodels were paid in something far more valuable than money: clothes.
