An adorable pooch has won the hearts of people around after going viral for looking like black hole.
Owner Christina Worthington, 28, from Champaign, Illinois, posted a snap of her Schipperke-breed dog Ben, earlier this year and was shocked when he quickly gained a huge fan base.
Christina and her husband Ryne, also 28, had never noticed that their 10-year-old pooch looked so round from above.

But after sharing a picture online, Christina was inundated with thousands of likes, comments and shares from fans who likened Ben to a black hole one would find in space, due to his spherical physique and fluffy black coat.
The popular pooch has now been nicknamed ‘Blackhole Ben’ but HR professional Christina assures that he has not let the fame go to his head.
She said: ‘We never considered Ben’s resemblance to a black hole until I snapped a quick photo of him and sent it to my sister.
‘She encouraged me to share the photo with other dog lovers across the globe on the Facebook group.

‘From there, many group members were referring to him as a black hole that you would see in outer space.
‘That’s where his nickname, Blackhole Ben, came from.
‘It really is just the angle of the photograph that makes it so funny.
‘Schipperkes do have a unique body type where they appear to be more spherical looking due to their thick triple coat of fur.’

She added: ‘Ben went viral almost immediately. Reactions to his photos were and still are truly astounding.
‘People have told me that it brought them a smile on a bad day and made them laugh with their family members.
‘Often they share a memory of pets since passed that Ben reminds them of, which is nice.
‘Ben is a true gem and we love everything about him. He is quirky, loyal, so loving and curious.’
