Lott officials said the man thought the call was a prank when he answered.

‘This isn’t a wind up, is it? Are you sure you’re not one of my mates pulling my leg?’ the man said.

‘I saw these missed calls and then I thought ‘well someone clearly wants me’. I am glad I answered this call. This is unbelievable!’

He said he was about to tell his wife of their newfound fortune.

‘I am sure she will ask me to finish up for the day so we can have a few drinks to celebrate,’ he said.

He said he would spend the cash on his first house, a caravan to go traveling in, and the rest he would save for his children.

 ‘I can’t believe I am a multi-millionaire.’
