It’s not what was in the ITV documentary Harry and Meghan: Where Did it Go Wrong? that got royal watchers excited – it was what was left on the cutting room floor that proved to be the biggest talking point.
A version of the documentary shown to the media featured a contributor claiming that Kensington Palace had planted stories in the press about Prince Harry‘s mental health.
This infuriated Prince William who instructed lawyers to challenge this, ITV acquiesced and the film that was shown to the public made no mention of it.
