An adorable golden retriever has been filmed imitating a dolphin while playing fetch in a lake.
In footage shared online, two-year-old Quincy can be seen eagerly waiting for his green squishy ball to thrown as he treads water in Willoughby Lake, Vermont.
As he hunts down his toy, he takes seven consecutive leaps from the water in what appears to be a hilarious dolphin impression.
The young pup was playing with his owner Karen York and her family when he performed the bizarre trick.

Ms York said: ‘He is on the smaller side for his breed and he’s quite silly and care-free.
‘When he did it we thought that fits his personality to a T.’
It is not the first time a canine has shown an affinity with dolphins.
A dog named Patrick went viral last year after his owner filmed him playing with a dolphin on Opuk beach on Crimea’s Black Sea.
Golden retrievers are among the most popular breeds of dog for families, particularly in the US.
They are known for being eager-to-please while having a joyous and playful approach to life.
